Bio Sheet
NAME: Sharon Carter AGE: 30 DOB: 05/12/1986 CANON: MCU CANON POINT: Captain America Civil War SPECIES: Human SCRUBS COLOR: Red STAT:Height: 5'8", Weight, 135 lbs, Hair, Blonde, Eyes, blue PERSONALITY: "Margaret Carter was known to most as the founder of S.H.I.E.L.D., but I just know her as Aunt Peggy. She had a photograph in her office: Aunt Peggy standing next to JFK. As a kid, that was pretty cool. But it was a lot to live up to, which is why I never told anyone we were related." Sharon was not naive enough to think that no one would care that she was related to Peggy, the founder of Shield, so she made the conscious choice not to reveal her true identity to anyone. The last thing that she was, was ashamed of Peggy Carter, but she is the type of person that wants to be judged on her merit, and not by her last name. She learned from her Aunt Peggy not to take guff from anyone, and certainly not to settle on something that she doesn't believe in. Sharon is a brave and strong-willed person. She is the way she is because even though she holds firm in her beliefs, she is not afraid to go against the grain if it means doing what is morally right. She went up against Rumlow and Pierce because of "Captain's Orders" because it was the right thing to do. The morally correct thing, may not always keep her safe, but she can sleep at night knowing that she has done the best thing for her. She is the type of woman that never gives up, no matter what the personal cost. Sharon does not fear the unknown, in fact, Sharon embraces it. Sharon understands the necessity and structure that rules provide but she has no problem breaking rules for the greater good, evidenced when Sharon helps Steve get out of custody with his shield. The rules don't seem to apply when Sharon is dealing with Captain America. She believes in the ideals that he propagates, even if on some level She thinks they are not always practical. She does help him, but she seems to only be willing to go so far. She doesn't want to get caught, because, given her position, she is more able to help than if she got caught and lost her job. Sharon grew up idolizing her Aunt Peggy, and she has many of the same personality traits that her great-aunt has. Sharon does not suffer fools gladly and firmly believes that missions are no place to mess around. She takes her job seriously and is a no-nonsense type of person. Sharon is clever and skilled at problem solving. She has no problem thinking outside the box, and it is that skill that makes her an asset to any team she is on. Sharon is somewhat of a perfectionist, but she does accept criticism willingly, although she may not like it. Sharon can be pushy, impatient, and incredibly stubborn which at times makes her difficult to deal with. She is that way because she has had to be that way in order to advance in Shield. She knows how to play the game, She is much better at breaking the rules without looking like she is breaking them. She is a careful planner, and unlike Peggy, doesn't like to fly by the seat of her pants. She doesn't usually buck her superiors to their faces unless of course, they are intent on destroying the world. She is disciplined much like her Aunt Peggy and displays confidence. It can be intimidating. Sharon is a strategist and planner. In the past, she hardly ever improvised, wanting to plan things out to the letter. Sharon learned the hard way that the world is not always a black and white place, as much as the former Shield agent wants it to be. She believed in Shield with her whole being and got burned, so she is much more wary of trusting on face value. She trusts her judgment, but it is others judgment that she doesn't trust. Sharon is a private person and can come across as withdrawn. People, namely Steve, can get frustrated with her because she does play things so close to the vest. Sharon can internalize her emotions mostly to protect herself, but she comes off at times as cold and emotionally constipated. She is conscious of her legacy and creates higher expectations for herself to live up to the legacy that Peggy created. At the end of the day, Sharon is her woman, building her legacy. She is, however, conscious of the past and what it means for the future. She also makes the conscious choice to keep her familial ties a secret because she wants to be seen for her own merits and not for her Aunt's. There are many similarities between Sharon and Peggy Carter, but there are also differences too. The biggest one is the time in which they both lived. Sharon, coming from the 21st century didn't encounter the discrimination that her Great-Aunt did in the 1940's. Women, while not being completely equal were treated on much, more equal footing in part thanks to the sacrifices made by Agent Peggy Carter. Sharon is much less forthcoming than Peggy, she doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve. Sharon is cynical where Peggy is an idealist. Sharon grew up in a world where political and Military corruption was at the forefront of her daily life. Corruption is not a new thing, but in the age of social media and youtube, it is definitely harder to cover up. Sharon tries to follow the same ideals as Peggy, but her hand is definitely heavier than Peggy's tends to be. Sharon also does her absolute best not to get emotionally attached to a case. Sharon, however, is not perfect and epically failed when it came to Steve. Steve Rogers is a man that Sharon most likely heard a lot about growing up. Sharon would have to be blind, deaf and dumb not to be affected on some level by Steve Rogers. She learned about him from Peggy, and grew to respect him, and love him in her own right. Though she didn't grow up in the same idealistic world that Steve and Peggy did, she will do anything to protect the man she has grown to care about. Sharon is a woman that has many layers, on one hand, she supports the rules, initially supporting the Accords, but in the next second she is giving confidential information to Steve, and aiding in the escape of three fugitives. One explanation is that on some level she loves Steve Rogers and will do anything to protect him, including breaking the rules. HISTORY: Sharon Carter OOC:
